Zoe-perry

Perry was born the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. The role of Jackie Harris was played by her mother in both the two episodes she appeared on Roseanne. Perry was forbidden to perform with her parents till an adulthood stage, because they were concerned about the stress it would cause. Perry, who was too shy for acting in high school, started to act in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry started her acting career in New York after graduation, getting small parts on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But homesickness made Perry go back to California and pursue a career as a theater actress. In 2013 she performed in The Other Place on Broadway along with her mother. Kevin McKidd, her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie together with her in 2015. Perry was in nine episodes of The Family, an ABC drama The Family in 2016. In 2017, Perry had a minor role on ABC's political thriller Scandal which starred her father. The character she played was the younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off episode that was part of the CBS show The Big Bang Theory was an additional portrayal that was younger of her mother. The character was assigned by audition regardless of the fact that she was a cousin to the character.
